The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler: The Crew



DALE ALBRIGHT (Director) is pleased to return to Dragon Productions where he previously directed As Bees in Honey DrownLittle Dog LaughedSister CitiesBurn This, Side Man and After Ashley. He also appeared in Dragon’s Heidi Chronicles and Chekhov in Yalta as well as the second stage production of Take Me Out (TBA Award for Best Actor). Dale has also directed for Douglas Morrison Theatre, Custom Made and Bus Barn, among others. Other acting credits include Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Golden Thread Productions, City Lights Theatre Company of San Jose, New Conservatory Theatre Center, Pear Theatre, Douglas Morrison Theatre, and more.  Dale is the program director at Theatre Bay Area.

LINSEY ALMASSEY (Assistant Stage Manager) Linsey is a graduate from Notre Dame de Namur University with a BA in Theatre Arts. Linsey graduated Cum Laude as well as receiving outstanding achievements in both performance and production for her for years spent at Notre Dame. She has performed in multiple productions at NDNU including but not limited to DraculaA Christmas CarolPicasso at Lapin AgileA Midsummer Nights Dream and was awarded two Irene Ryan Nominations Switching now from performance to production, Linsey is currently a Production Assistant/ Technician at Palo Alto Children's Theatre. Linsey has worked with multiple professional theatre companies in the area such as Dragon Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, Magic Theatre, and American Conservatory Theatre. 

BETH COVEY-SNEDEGAR (Properties Master) Beth has been involved in theatre from a young age on stage and off.  She is thrilled to be back at Dragon for The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabbler. When she is not searching for lifelike fish and bodies to drop from the ceiling, she is busy running her floral design and event planning business, Sassy Diva Designs and Events. And when she isn't knee deep in flowers she is chasing her two adventurous boys and keeping them out of danger.  

BROOKE JENNINGS (Costume Designer) Brooke is ecstatic to rejoin Dragon Productions with this intriguing production of The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz's Theater Arts Masters Program, Brooke is an award-winning Costume Designer currently working in the Bay Area and New York. Her credits also include Dragon (Ariswimming) San Francisco Playhouse (Colossal, The Nether, Stage Kiss), Berkeley Playhouse (Peter Pan The Musical), We Players (MIdsummer of Love, Romeo and Juliet, HeroMonster, Ondine), Magic Theater (asst. designer: A Lie of the Mind, Bad Jews), FaultLine Theater (Every 28 Hours, Maggie’s Riff), Virago Theatre (The Singularity (New York Premier, 2015)), Custom Made Theater Company (Mother Night, Belleville, Chess The Musical, Six Degrees of Separation, Sam and Dede (SF and NY Premieres)), and City Lights Theater (Rocky Horror Show). Brooke is the 2015 Recipient for Best Costume Design by Theatre Bay Area for her work on We Players’ “Ondine at Sutro," directed by Ava Roy and Carly Cioffi.

CHARLES MCKEITHAN (Master Carpenter and Scenic Designer) has been working in Bay Area theater for over ten years now as an actor and a carpenter and is happy to be back with the Dragon for another round of fun. His past works include multiple productions here at the Dragon, Walls of Jericho at the Pear, Collosus at SF Playhouse, and countless productions with Ron Gasparinetti under the guise of Thrust Scenic Design

CHRISSIE SCHWANHAUSSER (Stage Manager) is delighted to work again with Dragon Productions. She has worked as a theatre professional in the Bay Area for the past two years with California Theatre Center where she has served as a youth educator, backstage manager, and more recently Tour Coordinator for their 2015-2016 school series productions. Previous stage management credits include Sherlock Holmes and the Adventures of the Suicide Club with Silicon Valley Shakespeare, On the Verge and The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Church at Dragon Productions, Crossroads at Cal Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and Antigone at California Theatre Center’s Advanced/Intermediate Conservatory. She’d like to thank the audience for supporting live theatre.

RYAN LEE SHORT (Sound Designer) Ryan is thrilled to be back at Dragon having previously designed sound for WHEN THE RAIN STOPS FALLING. When he's not making noises in dark rooms, he's building sets for them, and can even be found spending an occasional free moment petting floofs and traveling the world with his amazing wife. 

MIRANDA WALDRON (Lighting Designer) Miranda Waldron is a lighting designer originally from the Pacific Northwest. She received her B.A. in Lighting Design from Willamette University in Salem, OR. A recent transplant to the Bay Area, she is thrilled to be designing with Dragon Productions! Recent design credits include Into the Woods (Pacifica Spindrift Players), Alice in Wonderland (Olympia Family Theater), Force Continuum (Ashland Armory) and bobrauschenbergamerica (Willamette University). Upcoming designs include 1940s Radio Hour (Los Altos Stage Company), 42nd Street (Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre), and The Laramie Project (Palo Alto Players). In addition to her design work, Miranda has interned with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Stage Management and Casting, and she is currently the Assistant Master Electrician at California Shakespeare Theatre (CalShakes).
